The Prilep Living Lab, "Building Healthy Eating Habits Amongst Preschool Children," is a key initiative for sustainable food systems. It empowers kindergarten staff to foster healthy eating habits, aligning with FEAST's mission to harmonize people, the planet, and public-private partnerships.

Our diet significantly impacts both our own health and the planet’s. But eating a healthy and sustainable diet is not feasible for everyone. In this Living Lab we aim at increasing healthy and sustainable food choices for those with a limited budget in Leuven.

The University of Łódź, as the Polish partner of the FEAST project, coordinates a Living Lab located in Tuszyn, a small town of 7000 inhabitants located in Central Poland, 15 kilometers from the southern boarders of Łódź City.

The primary objective of our Living Lab is to examine the barriers that make it difficult for vulnerable local populations to adopt healthier and more sustainable eating habits.
