The Challenges
After the two sessions of need finding with representatives of the advisory board of the community gardening programme and gardeners, a series of challenges were defined.
How can we develop a structured, systematic, engaging, and collaborative onboarding plan for new urban gardeners?
How can we effectively help the community to share skills and create an internal common knowledge?
How can we help urban gardens to best communicate their values and activities?
How can we transform urban gardens into public spaces inclusive for everyone?
Day 1 - 5th November

09.30 - 10.15 Challenges presentation and teambuilding
10.15 - 10.30 Co-design methodology: frame, goals, tools
10.30 - 12.30 Group work: brainstorming on ideas
13.00 - 14.00 Lunch break (community lunch, provided)
14.00 - 15.00 Checkpoints by mentors & experts
15.00 - 17.00 Group work with (free) breaks, closure with a main idea for each group
17.00 End of Day 1
Day 2 - 6th November

09.15 - 10.30 Group work with checkpoints by mentors & experts on concept definition
10.30 - 11.00 How to: prototyping the ideas and final presentation
11.00 - 12.30 Group work
12.30 - 13.30 Lunch break (community lunch, provided)
13.30 - 16.00 Group work: end of prototyping and preparation of the final presentation
16.00 - 17.00 Final presentations
