Programme Overview:
This webinar is a joint initiative of three EU-funded Horizon Europe projects: FEAST, SWITCH, and PLAN'EAT. Together, we will examine the European Commission's food systems vision from production to consumption, exploring policy implementation pathways and gaps for the next Multiannual Financial Framework (2028-2034), the social dimensions and stakeholder perceptions of sustainable food transitions, and participatory governance approaches including the concept of a European Food Policy Council. The session will bridge political vision, research, and practice to identify opportunities for creating healthier, more equitable, and more sustainable food systems across Europe.
