Hack for Food, Hack for Good - the Event!

Innovation and Sustainability for the food chain

Join us!

In March 2025 young innovators - winners of a series of Hackathons organized by the EU project FEAST and OpenDot - will present new innovative projects during a vibrant forum in Copenhagen that will bring together nationally and EU-funded food-related projects and solutions conceived to transform the food value chain to make it more just, healthy and sustainable.

Organized as a collaborative effort by the FEAST and BEACON projects, the event provides a unique platform for pan-European knowledge exchange and collaboration, through innovative projects' presentations and moderated World Cafes sessions, fostering a more fair, sustainable, and healthy future for Europe's food systems.

BEACON project

The Behavioural Insights for a Circular Society – BEACON project explores and tests behavioural changes that promote sustainable lifestyles, contributing to the development of a Circular Society. Focusing on urban food systems in Copenhagen, the project conducts real-world experiments to drive sustainable food consumption and reduce food waste. While rooted in Copenhagen, the findings are expected to be relevant across other consumption areas and systems of provision. The project also facilitates stakeholder engagement through workshops and interventions along the value chain. Funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation.
