Discover the winning idea of the fourth Hackathon organized by OpenDot in Berlin as part of the FEAST project. 

On November 25th at 02:00 PM (CET time), we will present in our online webinar, the prototypes and the processes that led to the design of KiezGarden - a hybrid communication system designed to strengthen internal coordination and community engagement within Berlin’s community gardens. It combines analog and digital tools to address key challenges such as onboarding newcomers, sharing knowledge, retaining members, and improving collaboration across different gardens.

Project implemented in collaboration with Toni Karge - Senior Policy Officer (Unit for Open Space Planning) - Department for Urban Mobility, Transport, Climate Action and the Environment, Berlin - Community Garden Programme and with the support of Walgarten Britz, Kassel Waldgartens, University of Potsdam, Modern Designer (Aswin Ranganathan), Happy Lab fab lab - Berlin.
